Terms of Service

1. The service
RedactCloud provides an API proxy that detects and redacts sensitive data in AI prompts before forwarding supported requests to the selected AI provider with the upstream key you provide. By creating an account or using the API you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
- Keep your credentials confidential; API keys are shown once and cannot be recovered.
- You are responsible for activity performed with your keys, and for revoking compromised keys.
- You must have the right to process any data you route through the service.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use RedactCloud to break the law, to violate an upstream provider's applicable terms, or to probe, disrupt, or overload the service. Rate limits apply per key.
4. Plans, billing & cancellation
Current plan limits and prices are listed on the pricing page. Paid Pro subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Dodo Payments is the merchant of record and handles checkout, taxes, invoices, and payment processing. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise. AI provider usage is billed separately by the provider whose key you supply. Protected requests and temporary grace capacity are defined on the pricing page; access may pause when the applicable enforced limit is reached. Refund requests are reviewed under applicable law and the merchant-of-record terms.
5. Service levels & changes
Current access options and deployment requirements are described on the access page. Any enterprise service terms are agreed in writing. We may improve or modify the service; material changes to these terms will be announced before they take effect.
6. Disclaimer
Redaction dramatically reduces exposure but no detection system is infallible. The service is provided "as is"; you remain responsible for your own compliance obligations. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.
7. Termination
You may request account closure at any time by contacting us. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.
